OBJECTIVE

No need to explain my relationship to non-profit organizations. They have no or very limited budget, but their results and achievements are no brainer. Nobody is capable of doing so much work than volunteers or founders involved in non-profit organizations. Change my mind. However, when you are part of a community of people who are willing to do extra mile no matter what, they can create very fascinating results. This is the story of Fabrika Umenia.

WHAT WE DID

I had the idea about this video for few weeks in my head, I planned, filmed and edited this short video by myself. Run-and-gun the whole morning, capturing mostly wide angle shots - establishing shots. Come back home, edit the video, edit the sound, give it a subtle color grading to have the video published on social media that evening. My goal for this short video was to document the very first boots sale, but most importantly, the first brunch, and coffee and DJ set. Yep, everything in one day!

EFFECT

There is a lot to do in Fabrika 61, lot of hard work ahead. And this non-profit is not just about hard work with no or little budget. What brings the volunteers and founders of this non-profit closer together is the great coffee, delicious food and epic music. This video is a great example of just that.

This video helped me and the non-profit to:

  • uplift viewers to visit the interiors of old factor
  • give its viewers a sneak peek of what they can experience
  • build relationship with others within the community
PROJECT RESULTS

I had a fancy for a coffee, food and meeting new people. I ended up on this brunch with my camera so that you could experience the event with me. The video was published on social media channels on the day of it was recorded. It was shared across platforms dozens of times, it was well received.
